For this Fortune 500 pharma and medical device leader, we provided a project team to help efficiently and effectively execute on the global enterprise-wide implementation of product lifecycle management (PLM), which would span quality, R&D, and manufacturing.

As is common for us, this was a multi-year engagement. We began by providing a project manager to help the client scope out the project in its early phases (essential to long-term success). Then we provided a senior subject matter expert with deep PLM experience and expertise. Finally, in the implementation phase we provided several project managers and business analysts to ensure efficient, effective execution.

END-TO-END, FULL-SERVICE DELIVERY OF SAP IMPLEMENTATION

For this mid-sized client we provided full service support for the implementation of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SAP. We came in at the very beginning of the project and stayed through the successful rollout and enterprise-wide adoption. Over the course of two years, The Evanston Group team provided project leadership and subject matter expertise to augment the client’s internal team.

At the onset of the project, we provided an overall program manager who, over the course of the two years, oversaw the project beginning to end. We provided four architects with deep experience and expertise architecting ERP solutions, as well as a couple of business analysts. Together with the client’s internal team, we built out the strategy starting from the as-is processes and mapping toward the to-be processes. Then we oversaw the RFP process to find the system integrator, and we managed the system integrator through that portion of the project. The end result: efficient and effective implementation of SAP.
