Troy Blanchette

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

As Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Troy Blanchette leads The Evanston Group’s strategic initiatives. With a mission to accelerate the company’s already strong growth, Troy is focused on operational excellence, digital transformation, and broadening market awareness of the value TEG delivers for the world’s leading life sciences companies.

A hands-on and innovative leader, Troy combines sales and marketing savvy with tactical know-how and strong financial skills. He has demonstrated leadership expertise across functional areas including sales, marketing, finance, legal, HR, and operations. Over the course of his career Troy has held corporate leadership positions at Avnet, AMD, IHS, Jabil and Yole Développement. During his career he has started and led two businesses that reached $143 million and $120 million in revenue, respectively.

Known for pragmatic leadership and a decision-making style that motivates teams to incredible results, Troy is on a mission to drive revenue growth at The Evanston Group. His approach starts with asking ‘How can we best serve our clients?’

Troy officially joined The Evanston Group in November 2020 after serving as an executive consultant for the firm. Previously he served as General Manager, Executive Vice President, and Corporate Officer at Yole Inc, the North American wholly-owned subsidiary of Yole Développement, a France-based market intelligence and consulting firm.

Under Troy’s leadership, Yole Inc posted an impressive 46% compound annual growth rate. Already in operation for 18 years, with Troy at the helm the company more than tripled revenue in just three years. Troy grew the team from one person to eighteen, negotiated a strategic asset acquisition from a competitor, and established foundational corporate relationships including for payroll and benefits, commercial banking, and the assurance of federal and state tax compliance.  

Troy brings that experience and expertise to The Evanston Group where he will help to drive long-term sustainable success, including by deepening existing relationships with life sciences leaders and cultivating relationships with new customers who need experienced leadership, exactly matched talent, strong project teams, and rapid response to get their innovations to market.

Troy has a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from San Jose State University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. In his free time, he enjoys kayaking on Lake Norman, NC where he resides, motorcycle riding and working out. He is also an avid sports fan.
